Venture Party at Dragon*Con

The Venture Party (sponsored by the Venture Bros. Blog) took place at the Marriott Pulse Bar and Lounge. Attendees got to meet other Venture Bros. fans, take photos with and get autographs from Doc Hammer and James Urbaniak, and compete in a costume contest for prizes!

One of my highlights from Dragon*Con was attending the Venture Party following the Venture Bros. panel. Ben and I met a lot of really awesome people and fans of Venture Bros. and saw a ton of great costumes. Doc Hammer and James Urbaniak eventually showed up to the party, signed autographs and took pictures with the fans. They even hopped in for a big group photo with all the Venture Bros. cosplayers.

After Doc and James left, a costume contest was held and winners were rewarded with autographed prizes! I was one of the group of 20 finalists that were selected for the costume contest, and although I didn’t win any prizes, I still had a lot of fun. The Venture Party is definitely something I will look forward to next year and I know I’ll be working hard on a costume just for the occasion.
