I’m not really interested in writing fan fiction and I am not talented enough to really create any fan art, so cosplay seemed such a perfect way for me to show my love of my favorite series! I enjoy looking at other’s costumes and thought it seemed like a fun hobby, so I decided to give it a shot. After attending my first convention, I was hooked!

Neliel, because Bleach was one of the first anime series I really got into. She’s one of my favorite female characters in the series and her design seemed simple enough for a beginner like me to pull off.

At this point, no. I’m still learning how to sew, so currently most of my costumes have been sewn by somebody else, partially sewn by me, or I purchased the items and re-purposed them. My Transformation Panty was the first costume I sewed myself. Putting together a good costume from found items has its own pleasures, but I would eventually like to sew the majority of my costumes to improve costume accuracy/quality and for the satisfaction of having made something myself.

I entered my Transformation Panty costume into a masquerade, but I usually don’t enter my costumes in contests. I cosplay mainly for the fun of it.
